Maximize Your Freeze Dryer – Tips for Rental Success

I still have so much to freeze dry. I have decided that since we are moving, I should probably start taking a step back. It’s time to start using the storage I’ve created. We are selling the house….. So, ironically this will only last as long as I have a space to put the freeze dryer. If you are considering buying a freeze dryer, think about how frequently you’ll use it. If you are like me, you may only use it once or twice a month. Renting it out might be a good option.

Freeze Dryer Rental

Here are the prices that I have come up with and surprisingly it has been a hit!

Candy$10/Tray
Whole Food$15/Tray

All of the pricing includes a Mylar bag & an oxygen absorber. The food does need to come prepared as well. For example, if someone brings me candy but they want the jolly ranchers cut up, there is an additional fee per tray for preparation. For me, the prep work is my least favorite part of freeze drying. You decide if you like it & let me know if you have any questions!
