I have been wanting to make croissants for sometime now. Between watching “The Great British Bake Off” & my amateur baking wants I finally took on the challenge. That started with me researching the easiest foolproof way to make these without failing! In the end I found that there are A LOT of expensive types of butter, wow was I naive. Here is a recipe from Elien Lewis – I’ll tag the original post down below! I did make a few tweaks. In her post she talks about letting the dough rest and please don’t skip this step!! I think next time I will try to incorporate some chocolate? I also think a few more folds wouldn’t hurt for some extra layers!!
